My Testimony
If you look at the side bar, there is a category that is named “My Journey“. The majority of the My Journey posts are part of my testimony. It is a good read. If you decide to read it, I suggest you start at the beginning and read through to the latest post.
However, I realize that takes time. You may not want to read through all the older posts about my journey with God. So, here is the short version of my testimony. I am not going to go into my past, except for the immediate times leading up to my salvation.
I was depressed. It was a deep supernatural depression. I was suicidal. If I could have figured out how to kill myself without my kids finding me, I would have done it in a heart beat.
Several things tried to get my attention. My son started attending church, a friend asked me what church I went to, an elderly man serenaded me with a beautiful song, about Heaven. Nothing got through. Then one day, this man walks up to me and starts talking. He starts with small talk, works his way up to his health and the miracle of his life. He starts talking about his ministry and such. Then he stops, looks at me and asks if he can pray with me. He prayed, not knowing about my depression. He asked God to remove satan from my life, and immediately my depression lifted. Just like that. I knew I was a sinner, I repented. Dedicated my life to the Lord, and changed my life. Yes, I still struggle. Yes, I still get depressed. But now I know that God is with me. God loves me. I know that when I have problems, I can turn to Him and all will be good.
I urge you to read more about me and my journey. I pray it blesses you.
