Meet the Family

Hello, and welcome to A Cup of Tea with Me. My name is Melly. No, Melly is not my real name it is a nick name given to me by one of my closest friends in the blogosphere. I am a Christian wife and mother. I do not claim to be perfect. I claim that every step I have taken, every victory I have won, every battle I have lost and every mistake I have made, have made me into the woman that I am. I am not proud of them. I know I need A LOT of work. I also know that through Christ all things are possible, but without Him, I am nothing. I am the sole author of this blog, but you will meet many wonderful people.

A Cup of Tea With Me is a combination of two older blogs, with some additions. You will find my journey with the Lord here. I will bear my heart and soul as I talk about how God has moved in my life. I will be honest about the ups and the downs in my journey with God. You will also find my personal blogging here. Just sharing random things. The newest addition to my blog will be devotions, written by me. I am new at this, so they will not be perfect, but be patient. They will get better, I hope. You will notice, that immediate family all has nick names. I do this for a reason. I just hope I can remember what nick name I gave who. LOL!

I have been married to My Beloved (or DH) for 12 years. He is not only my husband, he is one of my best friends. We hold no secrets from one another.

I was a single mom when Moosey (or Son_01) came into my life. I tend to forget about that because he and DH have so much in common, you would never know there was not blood relation there. Moosey is now 15, and getting ready to drive. Oh the joys of a teenage son.

Boog (or Son_02) is our youngest. He is 10, going on 15. Boog is the one who can always bring a smile to my face. He is such a sweet guy.

Pepper is my 9 year old “puppy”. You will get to here about her, a lot. She is a Miniature Schnauzer. Pepper is the perfect dog for our family.

Buddy is our new puppy. He is about 6 months old. No papers or anything but from attitude, you can tell he is 100% Miniature Schnauzer. Such a fun guy!

Those are the ones that live in my home. You will also meet my friends, my parents, my in-laws, my sister and her family & my brother and his family. I hope you enjoy reading this blog.
