This post took me back a few years to when I was supervising a church sleepover for elementary age girls. We had a similar list. What we did not include was "no pets." When the girl walked in I noticed that her sleeping bag was rolled oddly. That's okay, I thought, she probably did herself. Later on, I noticed a crowd of girls around her sleeping bag. Some of the chaperones and I went over to investigate, only to discover that the girl had smuggled her pet rabbit to the sleepover. (That's why the sleeping bag was rolled so oddly.) Her mother was very surprised to get a call to pick up the pet in the middle of the night. After that year we had to include "no pets" on the list. Oh my!
