A Cup of Tea With Me

I was going to wait until I had a picture, but it does not look like it is going to happen any time soon, so…

Let me share the story of how Buddy came to live with us.

A friend of mine, from the local mall, asked me if we wanted to have (yes, that means free) their Miniature Schnauzer. (YAY!) The first time we talked, they said he was about 3 months. The second he was about 5 months. Well, even sight unseen and the changes in his age, we adopted our Buddy. They called him Puppy.

Buddy is adorable. He is darker than Pepper. More of a salt and pepper coloring than a silver. He is slightly smaller than Pepper. But he is not 6 months old…

We just took him to the vet to get him all checked out. He is as healthy as a horse. YAY! However, Buddy is … “about a year old.” At the least he is 11 months at the most 14 months. We are calling his birthday June 27, since that is the day that he came to live with us, and we have no way to know the real day for sure.

Buddy is supposed to be Boog’s dog. He loves Boog, but sadly he is partial to me. This is sad for a couple of reasons. First being that he is supposed to be Boog’s dog. The second being Pepper is my dog. She is very jealous of this “young pup”. Do not get me wrong. I am going to love on Buddy, but I am trying not to encourage him to be “mine”.

Anyway. I just wanted to share. Gotta love a new “puppy”.
