Thankful Thursday 13 - #3
It is that time again.
I just love this meme. I think it is great that Becki combined two great ideas and gave us my favorite meme. So, without further ado, my list:
1. First and always, I am thankful to God. Our Creator and Savior (I really hope this is not the same wording I used last week. It is true, and He will always be first on my list, but I do not need to word it the same way).
2. I am thankful for His guidance. I know He will tell me when I am ready to move forward and that I need to wait on His timing. It is not easy. I struggle with this daily. I am so thankful that God is in control.
3. I am thankful that my car repairs will cost less than $600 with tax. I was prepared for the problem to be in the thousands of dollars, maybe even more than the car is worth. On top of that, I am thankful that I do not have a car payment. My car has been paid off for 2 years and it is so nice to not have that payment. Especially when I am about to have to figure out where the money for Moosey’s car and insurance are going to come from.
4. I am thankful to all of the McCabe family that came to the reunion. It was a blessing to see each and every one of my aunts. uncles and cousins.
5. I am thankful that my Aunt Belle talked to me about things. It was reassuring to hear from her (I know that is cryptic, but I do not know if that journey is for my blog or not, yet
)
6. Friends. I love that I have friends that I can talk to.
7. My Beloved. He is a good husband and father. He helped out so much at the reunion and my family appreciated him being there.
8. Valorie and I got to cook at the reunion. Usually Mom does all that. This year she let us do it. It was a great honor and testament to her belief in her girls.
9. God for opening my eyes about my family and my job (no details there yet, but look for some to come).
10. Having Boog at home! I missed him so much!
11. Being home with Pepper. Shana took very good care of her, but I missed my girl, and I know that she missed us.
12. My visit with Kim and Jana. It was great to catch up with the girls. I had not realized how much I missed them.
13. Blogging. It is good for the soul and the mind. It clears up many things.
What? I am at 13 already?
OK, well, have a good week!
Thank you, Becki for hosting this!

Thank you. I just got more pictures of the reunion, and the pictures of my visit with Kim and Jana. I am so thrilled. I will have to scan them in when I get home from work, or maybe this weekend.
I cannot log into MySpace to tell them I got our pictures. POOHEY! Oh Well!

God is awsome! Family is such an amazing part of my life too - I’m just sad cause they are so far away (I live in Germany) Luckily we will see each other soon!
