Tasty Thursday
Thursday, March 1st, 2007Trista, over at The Pumpkin Patch has started Tasty Thursday. I love it! I will be participating in this one as well as Thankful Thursday.
Mayonnaise CakeOven 350 degrees
flour 2 9″ cake pans - When you flour your pans use cocoa instead of flour. It keeps white marks off your pretty chocolate cake.
3 cups flour
1 1/2 cup sugar
5 T cocoa
2 1/4 t baking soda
2 1/4 t baking powder
3/4 t salt
1 1/2 cup mayonnaise or miracle whip salad dressing
1 1/2 cup water
2 t vanilla
bake for 20 min or until toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean
We use canned frosting when cooled, but if you have a great creamy chocolate frosting recipe, I would love to hear about it.
